The plant doesn’t need a new pot. It needs indirect sunlight (like filtered light through curtains) for part of the day. If you want a plant in that corner then a Sansevieria (mother-in-law tongue/snake plant) is it. Personally, I don’t think you need to reimagine the side table. It doesn’t need to be matchy-matchy in the same hue. Keep it interesting. Happy Thanksgiving.

It’s been cream now for 2 years and you can’t tell it’s been painted! Still looks and feels like leather.
